Jennica Colvin, Owner/OTD/CSRS

(Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist)

Jennica graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She continued her education and received a Bachelor of Science and Master in Occupational Therapy in 2002. She began working extensively with the older adult population. In 2015, Jennica opened Trio Rehabilitation & Wellness Solutions to provide support to the aging population in and around Boerne, TX.

Jennica is married to Craig Colvin and together they have 3 kids. In her free time, she enjoys playing the flute and piano, expanding her Spanish-speaking abilities, and staying (mostly) fit through running.

Jennifer

Jennifer graduated from the University of Texas in 1987 and later earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 1999 at St Phillips College. She has 23 years of experience working in outpatient rehab and home health care. She enjoys working with the older and not-so-old population to help individuals recover from injury, gain strength, improve overall health, and maintain a good quality of life.
Jennifer is married to Michael and has one son with a beautiful family of his own and a daughter following in her footsteps at UT. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her fur baby, working out, and helping friends and clients beautify their homes through a small interior decorating business she runs with her best friend.

Kathy graduated from the University at Buffalo in 1992 with a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. She continued her education at Texas Woman's University where she became a Certified Hand Therapist. Kathy strongly believes in helping patients take ownership of their health and works diligently to provide the tools to do so.
Kathy is married to John and has two grown children. In her free time, she enjoys working out and loving on her six fur babies.

Cristina earned her physical therapy assistant degree from Odessa College in 2015. She is married to Nathan and has 5 children. In her free time she enjoys gardening and photography.

Judy

Judy graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2018. Her experience includes physical rehabilitation and lymphedema management with a special interest in hand therapy. She has worked with orthopedic conditions that include a wide range of UE fractures, dislocations, tendon injuries and post surgical orthopedic conditions, and frequently incorporates aspects of lymphedema management strategies, fabrication of custom orthosis and various manual therapy techniques to improve patients' independence to complete their activities of daily living.

Stephanie

Stephanie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology. She continued her education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she received a Master of Physical Therapy Degree in 2004. Stephanie has an extensive extensive background in various settings, including inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab and pediatrics with an emphasis in neurological disorders. Stephanie has two children and one crazy little dog named Mabel.

Kate Grove is an Occupational Therapist with 15 years of experience in neurological rehabilitation. She has extensive experience rehabbing clients surviving with stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and Parkinson’s disease. Her favorite population to rehabilitate is people who have survived a TBI.
Kate is married to Matt and together they have two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Her favorite places to visit have been Paris and Belize.

Jeanne attended UT prior to being accepted into physical therapy school at Southwest Texas State University. After graduating 1993, she worked orthopedics and continues to find passion in helping people resolve their pain and return to the activities they love doing. She is married to Tony and has 2 daughters, enjoys pickleball, and playing with her three dogs in her spare time.

Roxanne has been with Trio for just over a year. She is loves to laugh and making people smile - just one of her many positive qualities. She is the mother of two boys and has been married to her husband, Marty, for 19 years.

Suzanne

Suzanne graduated from Baylor University in 1990 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. She continued her education at Texas Woman's University - Houston where she received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1992. Suzanne has an extensive background in neurological disorders, cardiac rehabilitation, and wheelchair seating. She holds a certification in LSVT® Big Intervention for Parkinson's disease.
Suzanne is married to Gregory, and together they have 2 teenagers.

Danny

Danny has 37 years of experience and has worked in every setting of physical therapy. He obtained his MBA in Healthcare Finance in 1998. Danny is married to Gena and has one son who is a high school teacher in Arizona. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, kayaking and bartending.

Bitsy graduated in 1976 and continued going to school and more school and more....because it’s a lifetime commitment! She is passionate about the care of the spine which drove her to open an orthopedic practice in San Antonio in 1984 and ultimately sold in 2020. In addition to working part-time at Trio, she teaches at the School of Physical Therapy at UIW.

Sarah graduated from Texas State University in May, 2022 with her doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy. She has also has a BS in Dietetics and Nutrition, which she earned in December of 2018. Sarah is excited to join Trio where she can help her clients achieve and maintain their highest quality of life.

Karen is a 1993 graduate of Baylor University with a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She specializes in the treatment of people with swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and communication disorders. Karen holds certifications in VitalStim® therapy, Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation, and LSVT® Loud Intervention for Parkinson's disease.
Karen is married to Jim, and together they have 2 adult children and 6 grandchildren! She loves quilting and painting.

Kara attended Texas A&M Kingsville and graduated with a degrees in exercise kinesiology prior to being accepted to physical therapy school at Texas Women’s University in Houston. She graduated in 2015 with her doctoral degree. She has two children and enjoys walking, window-shopping, and spending quality time with her kiddos. She is an active member at First Baptist Church of Boerne.

Kara Short

Eileen

Eileen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomechanics from UC Davis and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. Her experience includes acute rehab, pediatrics, and outpatient rehab focusing on orthopedic injuries with extensive experience treating patients with total joint arthroplasty surgeries and spine problems. She also worked with doctors to develop the ACL rehab protocol. Eileen moved to TX in 2011 with her family of five and enjoys playing tennis, working out hard on her Peloton, coaching soccer, and watching her children play sports.
